Upendra Narayan has dedicated his life and savings for promoting road safety, thus saved precious lives in South India since 1996. He was a student of VJTI, Mumbai and worked with Land Rover Ltd, Oman. He was an international car rally driver. He has developed world's first ceramic reflectors for road safety in 1998 and fixed more than 20,000 reflectors in Kerala, part of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu free of charge.

He is a trainer to Kerala and Tamil Nadu Highway Police on advanced and people friendly enforcement skills and also trained more than a million students on safe walking, safe road crossing, safe cycling and safe bus travel.

He had successfully reduced 30% road deaths in Ernakulam rural district during 2009 and 60% road deaths in Angamaly in the same period. Now he wants to spread his results with action plans to transform India into “Road Safe Country”.

He was a member of Kerala and Tamil Nadu state road safety council, consultant to Kerala Police, member of Indian Roads Congress and trained more than 7000 Police personnel including 269 sub-inspector trainees of the 27th batch in Kerala Police Academy.

Upendra Narayan have been using his expertise since 1996 for saving precious lives in India without taking any financial support from the government.
